Fire, School Lane, Kirkheaton

We're currently in attendance at the scene of a fire at a building on School Lane in the Kirkheaton area of Huddersfield.

We've got several crews in attendance - there are currently no reports of any injuries.

Residents in the area are being asked to keep doors and windows closed due to the large amount of smoke in the air.

UPDATE 13.35 - Crews remain at the scene tackling the fire, using four jets, positive pressure ventilation fans and the aerial appliance from Bradford. Eight crews are at the scene, the building is 30% involved in fire.

UPDATE:14.45 - The fire is now out, and four crews remain at the scene damping down.
