Wildfire - March Haigh Reservoir

One crew remain at the scene handing the incident over the National Trust colleagues. The RSPB and National Trust will remain in attendance to work on the area.

Six wildfire units remain on scene, with supporting crews using beaters and blowers.

Six wildfire crews are at the scene using beaters, blowers and argocats to tackle the fire, which continues to burn. We are working with support of our partners including the RSPB and the National Trust.

We currently have six crews, plus five wildfire support units at the scene. Firefighters are using blowers, beaters and two argocat vehicles to tackle the blaze, which currently measures 1x2km in size.
