Fire in an industrial premise, building single storey measuring 70 metres by 30 metres, 50 per cent of building involved in fire. This incident was made pumps 6 and aerials 1 on arrival. Crews have used 1 Jet, 2 hose reels, 4 breathing apparatus and high powered fans to clear smoke from the building. Incident is now in the process of being scaled down and 2 pumps will remain in attendance.
Fire in kitchen of flat on 5th floor of a High Rise Block. This was a small fire and was out on arrival of fire service. 1 male casualty suffered smoke inhalation ans was given oxygen therapy by fire crews. Casualty was then handed over into care of ambulance crews. Smoke detection was fitted and did actuate.
Building fire 40m x 15m on arrival a request for 5 fire engines and 1 aerial ladder platform was made. Building is a waste transfer station with an exposure risk to two sides, 3 ground monitors, 2 large jets and 2 breathing apparatus used.
